Disclaimer

The content on plaisirsmaison.com is general information about decorating a home. By using this site you accept this disclaimer.

Costs and measurements

Prices are approximate and change by country, shop and season. Measurements are general guidance. Measure your own room before you buy anything.

Safety

Fix heavy items to a stud or a suitable anchor, and anchor tall furniture to the wall. Keep anything flammable away from heaters and candles. Leave wiring, plumbing, gas and structural work to a qualified professional. Follow the instructions supplied with any product.

Rented homes

Check your lease before you drill, paint or fix anything to a wall. You are responsible for any damage and for restoring the home.

Results may vary

Rooms, light, materials and products differ, so your result may look different from what is described or shown.

How our content is made

Guides are written with the help of AI tools and can contain mistakes. Most images are AI-generated illustrations, not photographs of a real home.

Advertising and affiliate links

This site may show ads served by third parties, and their presence is not an endorsement. Some links may be affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We do not test every product linked.
